Renee. A native Washingtonian, she was away from the area for more than 20
years, traveling, living and eating in Mexico, Turkey and Houston, Texas, where
she married and started her family. After careers in diplomacy, public relations
and international protocol, she turned to freelance writing to indulge her true
passion -- food. She co-publishes

Bahrenburg Janzen. Renee became publisher and editor of Edible Chesapeake
in December 2006.
